NAVY
Due to its founders’s background the naval sector always represented the core business.
The group has always been tightly connected with the Navy with a strong passion in the specific segment identifying in the Italian Navy a primary partner to be served with maximum efficiency and professionalism and to which proposing the best technical solutions capable of generating an added-value to the Navy fleet especially knowing the importance of having an always fully operative vessels to rely on.
During the years Rigel Group has supplied several type of systems and components still present onboard most of the Italian Navy operating vessels (Bergamini Class Frigates, Durand De la Penne Class, U212 submarines, Maestrale Frigates Class, Air-craft carrier Cavour etc..) as well as onboard many of the dismissed ones.
Furthermore for all the systems supplied Rigel Group offers a key logistical support and after sales service through its subsidiary company Intec which was specifically created to support the special requirements of the public authorities and armed forces in terms of logistical management and spare parts procurement.
The same approach has been implemented towards the national shipbuilding industry also recognized as primary partner to which dedicating all its technical/commercial skills by proposing, through its principles, the most innovative systems and components either for new builds destined to the Italian Navy or for new builds for foreign Navies.
